Panther Athletics (by Co-Athletic Director, Mrs. Cacciapuoti)

Welcome to the Panther Athletic Program!  Athletics are an important part of the lives of many students at St. Paul’s, so our athletic program strives to provide opportunities for our students to participate in a variety of athletic programs.  St. Paul’s Lutheran School believes and expects their student-athletes to emulate Jesus Christ in everything they do, including how they compete. Their sportsmanship and gamesmanship flow from the basic principles of a Christian lifestyle.  Our program strives to provide student-athletes with a Christ-centered experience where they will be able to grow in their abilities and learn the value of good sportsmanship.

Currently, the Panther Athletic Program offers a variety of sports for students in 5th-8th grades, along with Soccer Shots for students in grades TK-3.  The sports offered for the older students include flag football, volleyball, basketball, and track.  Students will have the opportunity to compete against students from other LOCAL (Lutheran Orange County Athletic League) schools at a variety of different levels.  Our goal is to teach student-athletes the fundamentals of their sport, while also creating a competitive, Christ-centered environment.

The Bible tells us in Ephesians 5:20 to “Always give thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”  At St. Paul’s, we believe each and every student has been blessed with unique gifts and talents.  Our athletes demonstrate their thanks to God through their athletic gifts.  In every touchdown, 3-pointer, spike, and race run, our student-athletes glorify and praise God through their athletic abilities, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Go Panthers!
